SD-OCT: HEIDELBERG-SPECTRALIS
This is a very important imaging test of the retina. With the use of special light rays, we get real-time images of the retina, that correspond to the histological cross section of the retina tissue. This examination is very important in patients with macular diseases such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and macular edema from other causes. The OCT scan can safely guide us in making treatment decisions for our patients.
